Contact a PASA Site to Try Out and Join

If you would like to try out for PASA, please contact the PASA site you are interested in joining. The sites operate at various locations and are run independently of each other. A full list of sites, coaches, and locations is on the PASA Sites page.

  • 1. Choose a Site

    Each PASA site runs its own practice schedule and training groups. Start with the location closest to your family.

  • 2. Schedule an Evaluation

    Site directors meet new swimmers to review stroke skills and endurance, then recommend a training group.

  • 3. Register

    Your site director will walk you through registration, USA Swimming membership, and practice details.

What to Bring

  • Practice suit and a spare
  • Two pairs of goggles
  • Swim cap
  • Water bottle and towel
  • Fins, paddles, or snorkel if your group requires them

Membership & Dues

Year-round PASA swimmers register with USA Swimming through Pacific Swimming. Dues, registration windows, and meet fees are set by each site.

What age can my swimmer start?

Each site sets its own entry age and skill baseline. Contact the site director nearest you to arrange an evaluation.

Do swimmers need prior competitive experience?

No. Sites offer developmental and age group training for swimmers who are comfortable in the water and ready to learn the four strokes.

How much does it cost?

Dues are set by each site. Fee schedules are not published here yet — request current pricing from your site director.

Is USA Swimming membership required?

Yes. Year-round PASA swimmers register with USA Swimming through Pacific Swimming; your site director walks families through it.

Can we switch sites?

Families sometimes move between PASA sites as schedules change. Talk with both site directors before making a change.
